Foodborne diseases have a high public-health impact worldwide, with developing countries, and especially young children, bearing a disproportionately large part of the total burden.

FOCAL is a research project established by Professor Tine Hald from The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), focusing on four countries, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique and Nigeria.
I was requested to design the logo that will represent this research group and also illustrate the framework behind its surveillance platform.
